Every newsroom makes mistakes. What matters is how quickly and honestly they are fixed. This is how we do it.

How to report an error

Email editorial@axynewsglobal.com with the link to the article, the specific sentence or detail you think is wrong, and, if you can, a source that shows the correct information.

What happens next

1. We review your report against the original sources.
2. If the article is wrong, we correct it as quickly as possible.
3. We add a short note to the article explaining what was changed and when.

Types of changes

• Corrections fix a factual error, such as a wrong name, figure, date or quote. These are always noted on the article.
• Clarifications add context when an article was accurate but could have been misunderstood.
• Updates add new information as a story develops. The updated time is shown under the headline.
• Minor spelling or formatting fixes that do not change the meaning may be made without a note.

Removing articles

We do not quietly delete stories to hide mistakes. In rare cases, such as serious legal or safety concerns, an article may be withdrawn, and we will say so where possible.
